ABOUT THE RESEARCH

The research area “Humane Employment: Cultures of Recognition”, which has been established at the ifz, is concerned with developments within the field of research on employment, including the changes of employment and unemployment. The three subject areas “Recognition of/in Employment and Unemployment”, “Changes within the Work Environment and the State of Unemployment” and the “Concept of Decent Work” receive special attention and are analyzed theoretically and empirically. The aim of the research area is to support connections of research and praxis in order to realize the gained insights.
