Social Collaboration in Companies and Humane Institutions.
Social Interaction in Companies
About the Research
For companies, mission statements and visions have become more important. The reason: Organizations have become aware that work culture is a decisive success factor. The ifz is part of a project that points beyond such an awareness. Focusing on four institutions (among them the Kolping House Salzburg), researchers from the United States and Austria are analyzing certain organizational structures that support recognition of individual employees to find out whether such structures help people to experience dignity. The analysis is grounded in the Catholic Social Teaching.
What is the role of mission statements and visions in companies? Can the principles of the Catholic Social Teaching be implemented in social interactions in companies? Can organizational structures that support the recognition of the individual help to experience dignity? Is the idea of subsidiarity implemented in decision-making structures and opportunities to participate?
