Fabian Matthias Kos has been working as a research fellow and project manager at ifz since 2017. His core expertise is evaluation and impact research. He provides data-based evidence for decision-making in the social service sector and advises organizations and executives on strategic development. Co-production and empowerment of people in vulnerable situations are key elements of his working practice.<\/p>\n
Fabian has worked and studied in Vienna, Berlin, and Rome. He holds Master\u2019s degrees in Social Work Management and Philosophy. In 2023, he was awarded the Erika Stubenvoll Prize from Volkshilfe Wien. He was a visiting scholar at the Institute for Social Concerns at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana, USA, in the fall of 2024.<\/p>\n
Fabian is a certified university lecturer and teaches at the University of Applied Sciences Campus Vienna and the University of Klagenfurt. His teaching areas include applied empirical social research, concept development, and social and economic ethics.
