Elisabeth Rumpl has joined the ifz as coordinator of the mentoring project „Lernen macht Schule“ in September 2021.She is in charge of planning, coordinating, and implementing the activities of the project, which is conducted in cooperation with Salzburg Ethics Initiative, theCentre for Ethics and Poverty Research, as well asCaritas Salzburg. She serves as maternity leave replacement for Angelika Essl.
Elisabeth Rumpl studied political science as well as German and History (teacher’s training) in Salzburg and Vienna. On a freelance basis, she works as a trainer and systemic coach in companies and organizations, focusing on experiential pedagogy (outdoor training). In addition, she works for the nonprofit organization Rainbows, where she supports children, youth, and parents in the aftermath of separations, divorces, or deaths of close family members and friends. She is particularly passionate about working with children and young adults. She follows a fundamentally developmental- and resource-oriented approach and is committed to non-hierarchical encounters at eye level.
She is specialized in the fields of team development, communication, cooperation, gender, diversity, as well as personality development and apprentice training. Currently, she is pursuing a part-time further education degree in mediation and conflict management in organizations.
