Mona Röhm joined the ifz Salzburg as a research fellow in April 2021. She is a member in the Horizon 2020 project „Crises as Opportunities“ where she is responsible for developing and implementing the appropriate methodology.
Until 2016, Mona Röhm studied cultural and social anthropology at the University of Vienna. In 2018, she joined the Department of Sociology at the University of Salzburg , as a research assistant and PhD fellow, working on a dissertation in the field of intimate relationships / migration. Between 2017 and 2018, she was a research fellow at the Institute for Urban and Regional Research of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. During this time, she also worked as a lecturer for qualitative research methods.
Her research interests include topics such as migration, social norms, intimate relationships, gender, and qualitative research methods.
