Buchner Elisabeth

Elisabeth Buchner studied Political Sciences and Sociology at the University of Salzburg and has been working as a Research Fellow at the ifz since October 2013.

After a 10-month research stay in Bolivia she returned to the ifz in September 2018. At the ifz she mainly works in the field of empirical social research (quantitative and qulitative methodologies, evaluations, action reseach). The research fields she has worked in most recently include projects on the good life in work and unemployment, the measurement of social capital and the scientific monitoring of the mentoring project „Lernen macht Schule“.

In the context of the EU-project RE-InVEST, she was responsible for the implementation of the project’s participative action research measures in Austria. Currently she is in charge of evaluating several projects in the province of Salzburg that focus on strengthening the ability to work and labour market integration of vulnerable groups
