Pelenc Jérôme

Jérôme Pelenc has a bachelor degree in Ecology, a master degree in Sustainable development (ecological economics and human development) and a PhD in Geography. He is currently post-doctoral fellow of the Fund for Scientific Research (FRS-FNRS) at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. He does research on the role of collectivities in bringing about individual capabilities as well as give advice on implementing participatory action research and comment on the PAHRCA-methodology (Participatory Action Human Rights and Capability Approach) developed for RE-InVEST.

His research interests: capability approach, strong sustainability, ecosystem services, collective agency, transdisciplinarity, action-research, sustainability science, ecological economics, environmental justice, sustainable land-planning, social and solidarity economy
