Eric S. Nelson is assistant professor of philosophy at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. His research project in Salzburg investigates the compatibility of the asymmetrical ethics of difference and social-political equality in recent European philosophy and its social-ethical implications.
During his stay in Salzburg he worked on Levinas, Asymmetrical Ethics and Socio-Political Equality.
