Laruffa Francesco

Francesco Laruffa studied economics, sociology and political science in Turin, Tübingen, Paris and Berlin. At the moment he is working on his PhD at the Berlin Graduate School of Social Sciences in socio-economics. He is further part of the Franco-German network in the humanities and social sciences “Europa als Herausforderung” at the Humboldt-University in Berlin. From August 2016 onwards he is working at the University of Geneva in the Swiss RE-InVEST team. In his research he discusses European social policy from the perspective of theories of justice. As scholar in residence at the ifz he focused on developing a theoretical framework for social investment policy based on the capability approach.
