Kühn Nina

Nina Kuehns research is based on the scientific monitoring of the social festival-project “Tu was, dann tut sich was.” (Keep the Ball Rolling.), implemented in the Lungau region in 2011. The objective of this initiative is to support sustainable regional development and to participate local population. She analyses the social festival and it’s impact on the regional development in peripher or aggrieved regions. A special focus lies on the interdisciplinary discussion about „What is space? “ in the context of regional identity and regional transformation.

Further research interests are data analysis, data processing and data visualisation by methods of geoinformatics.
Nina Kuehn is enrolled in a doctoral programme in Geography at theUniversity of Salzburg. Since january 2011 she’s research fellow at the ifz. Her tasks are the scientific monitoring of “Tu was, dann tut sichwas.” and to create and establish a plattform of exchange for postgraduates.

Nina Kuehn reached her bachelor’s degree of cultural geography at the university of Erlangen and passed the master programme of applied geoinformatics at the University of Salzburg.
