Höss Stephanie

Stephanie Höss began her work as a research fellow at the ifz in November 2014. Together with Gunter Graf and Elisabeth Buchner, she is responsible for the supervision and implementation of the research project Ethics in the Daily Routine of Hospitals at the university hospital for oral and maxillofacial surgery of the Salzburger Landeskliniken (Salzburg State hospitals). The project is a practical implementation of the suggestions provided in Clemens Sedmak’s book Mensch bleiben im Krankenhaus – zwischen Alltag und Ausnahmesituation (Staying Human in Hospitals: Between the Daily Grind and Exceptional Circumstances).

Stephanie Höss studied psychology and theatre, film and media studies at the University of Vienna and the University of Bologna (Italy). During her academic career, Höss focused on the evaluation of health promotion projects and issues in labour market research. Besides her academic work, she is currently being trained as a clinical and health psychologist in Salzburg.
